Digital Media + Missions Internship
in Central America (Nicaragua & Honduras).
As a donor supported and volunteer led ministry, we value communication between all of our ministry partners and supporters. A great way we can do that is through digital media. We are excited about the opportunity to take an intern with us on our Central American mission trips in 2021 on six weeks of mission trips (June and July). This also includes a small amount of remote work in-between and a week after these trips to finish photo and video editing. Check out our mission trips for this time period here.
All airfare, meals, lodging, and trip packets will be covered in this experience along with a small stipend of $50 a week (for snacks/souveniers in-country).
You will work alongside our Resource Director as you tell the story of what God is doing in and through our mission teams.
This position involves:
shooting and editing photos and posting a selection to social media (as much as daily)
writing daily summaries
capturing and editing a 3-5 minute recap video for each week’s mission team
interacting as part of the missions team in small groups, evangelism, and on the diamond (playing baseball)

Requirements:
able to get a valid U.S. Passport by April 30 (it is a 6-8 week turnaround) *application fee not covered by Full Count
18 years of age by May 31, 2020 (unless a parent or guardian can be on the 6 weeks of trips with you)
able to lift camera/baseball equipment
a working knowledge of photo and video editing software (like Photoshop or Lightroom and also Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro)
will play or have played baseball
Preferred equipment:
Smartphone, laptop, and a DSLR camera are a plus (but not necessary)
Mission trips with us are not a vacation. The byproduct of going on mission is definitely an amazing and fun experience, but it is also physically, mentally, and spiritually demanding. Through this internship, you will have the opportunity to see God working through the game of baseball like never before, see another part of the world and culture, and meet amazing people!
